Harold R. Davis, age 90, of Randolph, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning January 3, 2016 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was born August 1, 1925 in Flatwoods, WV to the late Alva and Lona (Gregory) Davis.

He left behind his loving wife of 68 years Gladys (Cain) Davis; four children Diane (George) Malinky, Bruce (Sandy) Davis, Susan (Gary) Smith, Jeff (Sharon) Davis; 10 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.

Harold worked as a carpenter for most of his life, taking young men under his wing, teaching them the trade. He was in the U S Marine Corp during WW II serving in the Pacific Theatre and was the recipient of The Purple Heart. Harold loved people and life. He will be sadly missed. Heaven looks sweeter now to all he left behind.

Calling hours are Thursday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. The family will have a graveside funeral on Friday 11:00 AM at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph with Ron Bowers officiating.
