Harold Eugene Cameron "Gene", age 89, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born in Williamstown, West Virginia to the late Frank and Cora (McKee) Cameron.

Preceded in death by brothers Richard and Donald Cameron; and sisters Thelma Burdette and Ruth Husk.

Survived by his wife Pauline of 64 years; daughter Diane Sommer (Duane Goodwill); son Randy Cameron (Dena); grandson Adam Sommer of Houston, Texas; granddaughters Stacy Cameron of North Canton (Chad Gentry); Abby Cameron of Pensacola, FL, Alexis Sommer of St. Louis, MO (Brent Beach); and many nieces and nephews.

He retired in 1986 from Timken Steel after 34 years of service. A member of Steelworkers Local 1123, Golden Lodge; Navarre YMCA and Moose International.

He was an avid fisherman, loved traveling and loved his 36 years of Florida winters.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Aultman Hospice for the loving care he received there.

Visitation is Friday September 22nd from 11 AM- 12 noon at Arnold Shriver Funeral Home, 4817 Cleveland Ave., NW and funeral services begin at 12 noon. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
