Obituary

Harold I. Burrier, age 92, died Friday afternoon in Hanover House after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Irven E. and Mary (Freitag) Burrier he was a life resident Harold was a 1935 graduate of McKinley High School, was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, Hall of Fame Lucheon Club, former member of Canton Rotary, was a 60 years member of various Masonic Affiliations, and was a member of Stark County Home Builders Assoc. In addition to his parents Harold was preceded in death by three sisters: Marie, Irene and Doris, a brother Donald and his wives Mary to whom he had been married for over 50 years and his second wife Jean. Survivors include a daughter: Barbara Jean (Robert) Horn of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Son: Harold, Jr. (Sandra) Burrier of N. Canton, OH. Three grandchildren: Bonnie & John Gray, Wendie Burrier and R. Todd & Kerry Burrier. Four great grandchildren also survive. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Hanover House for their loving care provided to Harold. Funeral service will be Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Douglas A. Patton officiating. Entombment will be in North Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Hanover House 435 Avis Ave., N.W. Massillon, OH 44646.
