Harley E. Evans, age 82, of Hartville, passed away on Sunday February 25, 2018. He was born in Pike Township on December 21, 1935 to the late Vernon and Eunice (Medley) Evans. He graduated from Hartville High School and was an Army Veteran. Harley retired from GM after 30 years of service. He enjoyed antique car shows.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Rita (Doubledee); daughter and son-in-law LeaAnn and Brent Packey; son Matt (Stephanie) Evans; 4 grandchildren Alissa (Tony) Milini, Andrea (Adam) Fetty, Logan and Owen Evans; 5 great-grandchildren AJ, Austin, Averi and Brody Milini, Drew Fetty; sisters Shirley (Raymond) Hinerman, Pat Slusser; brother Mick (Alice) Evans; and other relatives and friends.

His wish was to be cremated. A burial will take place at a later date at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
