H. Faye George, age 94, of Canton passed away on January 2, 2025. She was born in Canton on October 17, 1930, to Milton and Elizabeth (Bosch) Leuthold and graduated from Timken Vocational High School, class of 1948. Faye spent a brief time as a secretary and devoted her life to raising her family at home. She was a life member of the First Church of Resurrection. Faye loved following the Cleveland Indians as well as Ohio State football. Faye was active in her assisted living community, the Gables of Canton, and could be found playing bingo and attending various festivities in the community.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Terry Abbey.

Faye is survived by her children Greg George, Jeff (Cherl) George, Larry (Susan) George, and Brad (Jackie) George; grandchildren Keith George, Brian (Kate) George, Michael (Katie) George, Deana Barton, Brittany Ross, Dean (Amber) George, Ryan (Kayla) George, Kevin George, Megan (John) Hall, Katelyn (Jake) Beiting; great grandchildren Sonia, Klara, Juliet, Alyssa, Eli, Isabelle, and Beckham.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. from 12:30 – 1:30 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:30 in the funeral home, final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local M.A.D.D., Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.
