Gregg L. Yeary, age 63, of Massillon passed away Thursday morning. He was a 1972 Oakwood High School graduate and a 1974 graduate of Stark State Technical College. He retired in 2010 from the Stark County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities after 36 years of service. Gregg was a member of William McKinley Lodge 431 F & M and of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy, Ohio State and N.Y. Yankees fan. Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Robert Yeary. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Yeary; siblings, Linda (Robert) Roud, Karen (Greg) Lanka and Keith (Susan) Yeary; nieces and nephews, Amy (J.P.) Sexton, Amanda (Ben) Hughes, Mitchell Lanka, Nikki Lanka, Robert Yeary and Lauren Yeary. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Max Baker.
