Gregg R. Reink, age 62, of North Canton, died suddenly of a heart attack on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The son of MaryAnn and Robert L. Reink of Euclid. He graduated from St. Joseph High School and gained his Bachelor's Degree from Miami University of Ohio and his Master's Degree from Cleveland State.

His main passion was education. He was a teacher in Keystone and Mantua; a principal in Fredericksburg, Medina, Eaton and Painesville. Gregg also worked as a Superintendent of Schools for Edgerton, Mogadore and Mid-Ohio ESC. He later worked as a Director of Business Affairs for Crestwood and a Treasurer for Global Village Academy. He was most recently employed as Treasurer for Sebring Local.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years Susan; his children and pride of his life Dr. Jennifer Reink of East Liverpool, Elizabeth Reink of Willoughby and Robert Reink of East Lansing, MI; mother MaryAnn Reink of Euclid; sister Karen (Serge) Chounet of Concord; mother-in-law Mona (Ed) Schultz of Massillon; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and nephew.

Calling hours are Friday 4-7 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with final viewing 10-11 AM at the church with Fr. Scott Kopp celebrant. Interment will be Monday at All Souls Cemetery Chardon. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
