Grace Ruth Reed, age 89, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday May 1, 2022. She was born in Akron on May 24, 1932 to Paul and Zollie (Wingate) Tomlinson and graduated from the University of Akron where she was president of her honor society TAU KAPPA PHI. She was a Home Economics Teacher in Akron and Massillon Schools and retired from A. T. & T. Her memberships included OEA, ORTA, SCRTA and AT&T Pioneers. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her smile and loyalty.

Grace will be remembered by her sister Ruby Gwinn; The George Hammett Family; The Max Reed Family; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; friends including Joan Spencer and Bill Kinsley. Preceded in death by her husband Major Max Reed; sisters Pauline McDaniel, Alice (Bill) Hoskins; infant brother James; brother-in-law Lester Gwinn; and nephews Gary and Larry Gwinn, Dennis and Bill McDaniel.

Calling hours are Tuesday May 10th from 10-11 AM and funeral services begin at 11 AM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville with Pastor Glenn Rogers officiating. Final resting place is Ft. Laurens Cemetery in Bolivar. Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, POBox 181, Green,OH 44232.
