Obituary
Grace Jane Reed,
age 94, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, August 28th. Grace was born in Canton to the late William and Laura (Wise) Thomas. She was a lifelong resident, graduating from Canton McKinley High School and retiring from Quality Cleaners. In addition to her parents Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Allen. Survivors include daughters, Patricia (Michael) Marchand and Marsha (Kenneth) Wise; grandsons, William (Becky) and Ryan Wise and Chip (Katie) Marchand. The family would like to thank the following persons and organizations for caring, supporting and being a friend to Grace: Pam Zernechel, Mike and Georgia Campanelli, Carolyn Shultis, Home Instead, Community Hospice, Gabe's Deli and First Commonwealth Bank (Whipple). They also give a special thank you to Christ Presbyterian Church which was of major importance in her entire blessed life. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Christ Presbyterian Church with Rev. David L. de Vries officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service in the church parlor. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cathedral Hour of Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, Ohio 44702. Please sign the guest book.
