Grace E. Chess, age 100 of Canton, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. She was born February 3, 1916 in Canton to Chester and Rose (Dauterman) Packer. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, two sons, Robert and William Chess; brother, John F. Packer and grandson, William J. Chess. Survivors include a daughter-in-law Patricia Chess; grandchildren, Rosemarie Chess O'Donnell, Thomas Lee Chess, Timothy Lewis Chess; great grandchildren, Andrew J. Chess, Morgan T. O'Donnell, Robert and Ashley Chess and niece Elizabeth Kessler. Graveside services will be Tuesday 2:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery.
