Grace A. Boring, age 94, of Canton died Sunday evening in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Canton November 28, 1914 to Harry and Phyllis (Givins) Burnworth she had lived in the Canton area all of her life and in her present home since 1942. Grace was married to Clifford (Jack) Boring on May 18, 1940. He died on November 12, 1944 from wounds received in battle in France while serving in the Army, in service to our country. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Warren (Bud) Burnworth, her in-law parents, Helen & Ben Boring, sister-in-law, Goldie Cowan and brothers in law, Paul Boring & F. Blair Boring. Grace is survived by her beloved in-law family, Treedy Boring, Ruth & Harry Hoy, Donna Boring, Arthur & Pearl Boring, Doris & Jack Cody, dear cousin Phyllis (Givins) Clark and many nieces and nephews. Grace was a lifetime member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church, member of Christian Volunteers Sunday School Class and The United Methodist Women. She taught in Children's Sunday School Department for many years, and also Vacation Bible School. She retired for the Church's Nursery School after 5 years of service. Grace was active in various organizations of the Church helping wherever she could to glorify God. "Come follow Jesus, it's a wonderful life" Funeral service will be Wednesday 1:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. John Mather officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Westbrook Park United Methodist Church 2521 12th St., N.W. Canton, OH 44708
