Gordon F. "Hap" Stotsbery, age 77, of Canton died Monday afternoon in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Richard and Anna (Paar) Stotsbery he was a life resident. A graduate of Lehman High School, Hap was a truck driver with the teamsters for 30 years retiring form Fresh Mark. A longtime member of Canton Elk's Lodge # 68, Hap was an avid softball player and loved dogs . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Jack Bolender. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years: Victoria Stotsbery. He dearly loved his children and will be cherished and loved forever by his daughters: Diane McFadden, Elizabeth Farina, Kathleen (Alex) Sedon and Margaret (Mike) DeStefano all of Canton. Loving grandchildren surviving are: Jackie, Michael, Kimberly, Erik and Al Gordon. Also surviving are five loving great grandchildren and his brother: Robert Kuehner (April) of Bolivar, OH. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St., W. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
