Glenn Thomas "Curly" Graber, age 69, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Winter Solstice, Wednesday December 21, 2022. He was born in Fort Myers, Florida on December 30, 1952 to the late Glenn Jacob and Vivian (Werstler) Graber. He graduated from Lake High School in 1971. He met Frankie Hunter at the Pantry and they married on August 10, 1974. He grew up working on the family farm and started his more than 40 year career for the Village of Hartville at the Waste Water Treatment Plant (30 years as plant manager). He was a member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren and was a beloved youth mentor and Kid's Club volunteer, CROP walker and mission tripper. Tom and Frankie served as district youth leaders and his influence carries on today. He was a boy scout leader and led his son and grandson to Eagle Scout. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.
Survived by his wife Frances "Frankie"; children Jennifer (Brad) Shelton, Michael Graber; grandchildren Isaac and Kaylin Kendall; siblings Cynthia (Larry) Ringer, Gerald "Jerry" Graber, Twila (Ron) Beahm, Charlotte (John) Schlabach, Laquita (Larry) Pickard, and Kevin (Julie Yoder) Graber; siblings in-law Judi Houston, Linda Hunter, Nancy (Dennis) Nelson, Mrs. John (Nancy) Hunter, Betty (Tim) Polles; and many other relatives and friends including Lake High School Buddies.
Calling hours are Friday December 30th(Curly's 70th birthday), 10-11:30 AM at Hartville Church of the Brethren. A memorial service will begin promptly at 11:30 AM with Pastor Anthony DiMarco and Pastor Tom Zuercher officiating. Refreshment in Fellowship Hall follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heifer International.
