Glen A. Adkins, age 53, of Canton, died on Thursday September 8, 2011. A graduate of Louisville High School, he worked at Hoover Co., and was a member of the Louisville Eagles. Preceded in death by father Shirley, he is survived by his wife Peggy; daughter Glenda; sons John, Daniel and Jeremiah Dougherty; 11 grandkids; mother Lois (Robert) Gibbs; brother Scotty (Cindy) Adkins; sister Tammy (Tony) Morris; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. In celebration of Glen's life, family and friends are meeting at Bud's Corner in Louisville on Saturday September 17th at 2 PM.
