Glaida L. Baughman, age 89, of Canton passed away Thursday April 21, 2011 in Manor Care of Belden Village. She was born on March 13, 1922 in Aultman, Ohio to the late Cletius and Reheuma (Cashner) Meismer. Glaida graduated from Hoover High School and later met and married her husband John R. Baughman who passed away in 1982. She is also preceded in death by sister Vivian Yost and brother Phil Meismer. She is survived by daughters Joan Baughman of Dayton, Judith "Judy" Steele and son John Baughman both of East Canton. Calling hours are Monday 1-2 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton. A graveside service will be Monday 2:30 PM in the Greentown Cemetery.
