Gladys G. Rupp, age 99, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, November 15, 2013. She knew the Lord as her personal savior and was a life time member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Gladys was born in Pickens, West Virginia to the late Upton and Annie (Kinneson) Mace. In addition to her parents Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Rupp, son, Edward E. Hill, granddaughters: Gloria and Grace Rupp, sisters: Mabel Haddix and Violet Blosser and a Brother, Arnett Mace. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Beatrice (Rufus) Hofelt of Canton and a son, James (Lori) Rupp of Belleville, Ohio. 6 Grandchildren and a brother Doctor Mace of Tennessee also survive. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m.Tuesday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Pastor Rufus Hofelt officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
