Gladys Inez (Griffin) Preisse, age 70, of North Canton, formerly of Hartville, passed away on Monday April 28, 2014. She was born in Gainesboro, TN on January 24, 1944 to the late Clyde and Dymple (McDowell) Davis. She worked at F.E. Shumacher and retired from North Canton City Hall. She had a gift of neighboring and enjoyed working outdoors. Her hobbies were raising Maltese Dogs, gardening, and she especially enjoyed her grandsons and grand dog Gumball. Preceded in death by her husbands James Allen Griffin and Jack Preisse; dear friend Jim Espenschied; infant sister Elizabeth Davis. She is services by her son and daughter-in-law Edward and Gail Griffin and grandsons James and Matthew all of North Canton; and family on the Griffin side. Calling hours are Thursday 5-7:00 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Friday 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Hanny officiating.
