Gladys H. Fair, age 96, of Canton, passed away Sunday morning, July 30, 2006 in Hanover House. She was born on July 9, 1910 in Brewster, Ohio to the late John and Hazel (Marchand) Gephart. Gladys graduated from McKinley High School in 1928 and married her husband Raymond on February 7, 1932. A member of First Church of Canton, Gladys had been a secretary for George St. Clair at Meyer's Lake. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond on March 4, 1987 and by sisters Catherine Jones and Irene Smith. Survived by a daughter Carol Traufield of Winter Park, FL; sons and daughter-in-law Robert Fair of Canton, Gary and Diane Fair of Massillon; four grandchildren, John Homer of Winter Park, FL, Robert (Karen) Homer of Orlando, FL, Todd Fair of Massillon and Mark (Jenny) Fair of Massillon; 3 great-grandchildren Taylor and Tyler Homer and Cody Fair. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home and ½ hour prior to services Thursday 10:30-11:00 AM.
