Gladys M. Degenhard, age 107, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the Canton Christian Home. Gladys was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Lettie (Niesz) Wise. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy A. Degenhard in 1997; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Richard Godard; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Gladys is survived by daughter Patricia (John) Hawken, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the chapel at the Canton Christian Home with Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating.
