Gertrude M. Watson, age 81, of Mogadore, went home on Friday September 26, 2008 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Dennison, OH on December 19, 1926 to the late Floyd and Doris (Zay) Beckley. During WW II Gert was a "Rosie the Riveter" at Goodyear and retired from Mogadore School System after 19 years of service. Preceded in death by brother Dick, sister Betty Weber, grandson Larry Reed; she is survived by her daughters Donna Reed of Hartville, Sue and Bill Reigle of Uniontown; grandchildren Debbie (Eric) Christian, Vikki (Jeff) Fishel, Cindy (Kevin) Young, Shelly (Jeff) Grubbs, Annie (Jeff) Parsons, Steve (Jenna) Reed, Mellony Toth; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings Peg Gram, Lois Baer, Jack (Linda) Beckley; other relatives and friends including special neighbor Brian Moore. Friends may call Monday 6-8 PM in Cornerstone Mennonite Church, 1250 Edison St., Uniontown. Funeral Services are Tuesday 11 AM in the church with Pastor Stan Grizzle officiating.
