Gertrude (Trudy) P. Boring, age 87 of North Canton, passed away Saturday morning, November 8, 2014 in Aultman Hospital. Trudy was born February 21, 1927 in London England to Bruce Thornton and Ethel Moss (Powell) Jepp and came to the United States following World War II. She retired from Aultman Hospital where she had been a Division Assistant. Mrs. Boring was a past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star 368 Bolivar Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband T. Paul Boring in 2002. Survivors include sons and a daughter, Ken (Gina) Boring of North Canton, Richard Holter and Susan Hootman; grandchildren, Tyler Boring of Wilmington, North Carolina and Collin (Holly) Boring of Jackson Township. She was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday 5:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave. N., Canton, Ohio 44714 with Deacon Dennis Ross from St. Paul's Catholic Church officiating.
