On May 20, 2011, Gerard (Jerry) Lesperance, 92, born March 27, 1919, was taken to be with the Lord and his wife Henrietta (Peggy) who proceeded him in death. Jerry was honorably discharged from the US Army after the Korean conflict ended and subsequently served in the New Jersey Army National Guard. He retired from E. I. DuPont in Deepwater, NJ working in the chemical and powder plant before moving to Ohio. Jerry lived with his stepson Lee Neal of Tallmadge, OH. He is survived by his granddaughter Erica (David) Chapman of Twinsburg, OH and his four great grandchildren Sarah Chapman, Lilia Chapman, Logan Chapman and Maia Chapman. Also surviving Jerry is his grandson Edward Neal, his great grandson Carson Neal and family members Janice Neal and Elizabeth Neal. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28th 11:00 AM, in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville with Rev. Robert Moffitt officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
