Geraldine "Gerry" Mansager died Thursday morning January 11th due to heart failure. She was born March 3, 1913 in Colton, SD to Severt and Violet Larson. She married Felix Mansager on July 5, 1931. Together, they cherished nearly sixty seven years of marriage, as she supported him in his responsibilities as President and Chairman of the Hoover Company. In 1956, they built a house in Canton and made it their home for forty two years, where they entertained and hosted business leaders from around the world. Upon Felix's death in 1998, Gerry relocated to the condominium they had also shared in Naples, FL. Gerry is survived by three children; Donna Hogsven (the late Harlan) of Wayzata, MN and Naples, FL, Kay Miller (Tim) of Naples, FL, and Doug Mansager of Canton and Naples, FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Julie Krause (Bill) of Plymouth, MN, Jane Rodgers (Tom) of Littleton, CO, Scott Sieverts (Kathy) of Canton and Kristin Wright (Chris) of Cumming, GA and seven great grandchildren; Justin and Chelsea Krause, Logan and Lilly Rodgers, Zachary and Kaitlin Sieverts and Mason Wright. A private family service was today in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home with interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
