Georgia E. Hoobler, age 88, passed away Friday morning in St. Joseph's Care Center after complications from a stroke. Born in Canton to the late George and Dessie (Carl) Johnstone she was a life resident of this area. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband: Elmer Hoobler in 2011. Survivors include six stepchildren and their spouses; nine step grandchildren; 12 great step grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Per Georgia's wishes services will be private.
