George C. Hinerman, age 73 of Kent passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 16, 2008. He was born in Earnshaw, WV on July 25, 1935 to the late Jason "Bud" and Mabel (Kiger) Hinerman. George attended Hartville High School, served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, and spent his life driving trucks. He was a member of the Shriners, Masons, Eagles, VFW, and the American Legion. George enjoyed woodworking and feeding his birds. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Joan (Kritz); children Paul Hinerman of Kent and Anna Watson of Globe, AZ; grandchildren Dustin Hinerman, Jeremy Watson, Kristan (James) Swearingen; siblings Wilma (Harold) Tessmer, Raymond (Shirley) Hinerman, Opal (Sam) Allen, Peggy (Ken) Zellers, Max (Sandy) Hinerman, Maxine Reese; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by brothers Ralph, Wilson, Bob and Clarence; sisters Dolly Hinerman and Mary Wise. Calling hours are Friday 5-7 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. The Adoniram Joppa Masonic Lodge will begin the funeral services at 7 PM, followed by services conducted by Pastor Dan Michaels of Grace Community Church, and concluded with military honors.
