George A. Cunningham, age 59 of Uniontown, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 24, 2007 unexpectedly. He was born in Akron on April 13, 1948 to the late Russell and Lillian (Wolfe) Cunningham. After graduating from Kenmore High School he served in the Army during Vietnam. He married his high school sweetheart on October 25, 1969. George retired from Lucent Technologies after 38 years of service. He was an active member of Hartville Church of God. Survived by his wife Barbara; son and daughter-in-law Donald and Jacqueline Cunningham of Kenmore; daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Bryan Lofties of Springfield; grandchildren Hayley, Hannah, Allison, Ashlee and Christian; brother Russell Cunningham; sisters Rebecca Chapman and Sarah Cunningham; and many other family and friends. Friends may call Tuesday 4-6 PM in the Hartville Church of God. Funeral services are Tuesday 6 PM in the church with Pastor Neil Davis officiating. Memorials may be made to the church, 532 W.
