Genevieve Walker, age 75, of Navarre, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning May 21, 2013. She was born April 14, 1938 in Lebanon, Oregon to the late Rev. Arnold McKinley & Kitty Marie (Hall) Hicks. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years James Harold Walker; sons Randall Lee and Steven Joel Walker. She is survived by her children James A. (Trudy) Walker of Louisville, Lisa M. (Timothy) Maxwell of Clarksburg, WV, Michael L. Walker of Akron; grandchildren Ruth and Melissa Walker, Jamie (Lorenzo) Davis, Micayah Walker, Justin and Ashley Maxwell; great-grandson Gavin Walker; brothers Warren Hicks of Navarre, Leonard Hicks and Fred Hicks both of Washington, Wilbur Hicks of Canton. She was always a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a foster parent. She was a member of the Brimfield Church of God where she was a member for over 20 years. Calling hours are Friday 11AM- 1 PM at Arnold Funeral Home. Funeral services begin at 1 PM with Rev. Richard Fonte officiating.
