In Loving Memory of Gay “Lynn” Wigren:

Gay “Lynn” Wigren was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, wife, and cherished member of her family. Her passing has left an emptiness that words cannot fully express. She will be missed immensely by all who had the blessing of knowing and loving her.

Lynn brought life, liveliness, warmth, and joy wherever she went. She was warm and kind, generous in spirit, funny, and deeply caring. Above all, she loved her family and congregational family deeply and treasured the relationships she shared with them.

Her greatest wish was for her children and family to have a real and lasting relationship with the Lord. Her faith was something she wanted to pass on—not simply through words, but through the love, compassion, and care she showed to those around her.

Though she was taken from us far too quickly, Lynn leaves behind precious memories that will be carried in the hearts of her loved ones. Every laugh, every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment shared will remain a part of her family's story.

We grieve because we love her, but we do not grieve without hope. We hold tightly to the promise that death is not the end. Through faith in Yeshua/Jesus, we look forward to the day when we will see Lynn again—a glorious reunion in Heaven where there will be no more sorrow, pain, or separation.

May the love Lynn gave, the faith she carried, and the memories she left behind continue to guide her family in the days ahead.

Until we meet again in Heaven, Lynn, you will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Daughter of Gertrude Bradley Gidley, those left to cherish Lynn Wigren’s memory include her husband, Rob Wigren; children Brian Gidley (August 17, 1982), Brandon Steffen (September 7, 1987) and Sarah Steffen (April 22, 1990); granddaughter Victoria (July 15, 2018), grandsons Nate (September 9, 2004), Korbin Johnston (July 31, 2004) and Ronin Johnston (March 31, 2026). She is also survived by her sisters Justina Marina and Hope Ozimek; father Hickrie Gidley and stepmother Helen Gidley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the STAR in the East Congregation 4120 Martindale Rd NE Canton Ohio at 6:00 PM.
