Gary L. Spencer, 67, unexpectedly went home to his Lord and Savior at his residence on February 17, 2021. He was born July 19, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Edward and Dorothy (Cross) Spencer. He graduated from Kenmore High School and went on to receive a bachelor of Arts from Cedarville College majoring in Christian Education and Theology. Gary's greatest joy was spreading the love of Jesus Christ to those he encountered. He served the Lord in Christian Education for over 40 years. He loved baseball, Volleypong© (a game invented by Gary himself), and being with his large, blended family.

He is preceded in death by his 1 st wife, Gloria, his parents, and many grandchildren whom he is blessed to be meeting for the first time. He is survived by his wife, Debora, 7 children, 2 stepchildren, 29 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 23 at the Chapel in Marlboro from 9:00 – 10:45 AM. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Bryan Schneider officiating. Private burial will follow at New Baltimore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Haven of Rest-Akron, Ohio or Chalcedon Foundation - Vallecito, California.
