Gary C. Sells, age 70 of Massillon and previously Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on November 18, 2024. He was born in Akron on September 17, 1954, to Forrest "Sonny" Sells and Donna Marie (Brown) Sells and is a graduate of Springfield High School. For the past 30 years, Gary lived in Tennessee and was most recently employed with Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was known for his ability to make people laugh and for his generous nature. Gary loved watching football and basketball. He was an avid University of Tennessee and Cleveland sports fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Gary is survived by his children Gary (Alice) Sells, Jennifer McVay (Todd Peeples) and Brian Sells; grandchildren Nicholas Sells, Danielle Sells, Isabiella McVay, and Gabriella McVay; stepdaughter Deanna (Matt) Pittard; brother Donald Sells "Donny"; sister-in-law Wanda Sells "Sissy"

Calling hours will be Friday November 22, 2024, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will begin at 6 PM in the funeral home with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Following cremation, Gary will be buried at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville next to his late mother on Monday, November 25 at 11 AM.
