Gary Rush, age 75, of Hartville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024 in his home with his wife by his side. Gary was born October 2, 1948 in Canton to Ernest and Edna (Emmert) Rush and was a lifetime resident of Hartville. He worked at Teledyne Monarch for many years and retired from Airfasco in Canton. Gary graduated from Hartville High School in 1966, was a member of Hartville Church of the Brethren and McKinley Lodge #431 F&AM. Gary loved hunting, fishing, especially at Salt Fork with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret; sister Geraldine Riffle; Nieces, Sheila (Jeffrey) Kanel, Collett Riffle; nephew Donald Riffle; Great Niece and nephew, Victoria and Andrew Kanel; brother-in-law, Donald (Susan) Newell and their children Gregory and Jason.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4-6:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Additional calling hours are Friday 10-11:00 a.m. at Hartville Church of the Brethren where services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Anthony DiMarco officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery.
