GARY DAVID LEMMON Born November 21, 1953, Gary lost his battle with cancer on Friday morning, June 13th. Gary loved life and his family, was loved by friends and family and always tried to enjoy the fun that each day could bring. His children, son Paul Lemmon of Malvern, and daughter Jennifer Lemmon of Columbus, who were his greatest source of joy and pride, as well as their mother, Dale, survive Gary. In addition survivors include his mother, Joanne Seccombe, father, Richard Lemmon, Richard's wife Nancy, his brother, Jim Lemmon, and his special friend, Juanita Shepard, who was a source of great comfort and support to all, as well as various members of his extended family. Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Richard P. Lemmon Jr., in 1969, as well as his grandparents, aunt and uncle. Gary was a professional painter who always took pride in his work product, and had previously been the manager of the family's grocery, Lemmon's Market. He loved the water, whether barefoot water-skiing at Lake Mohawk, or enjoying the beaches of Florida, and was delighted to share this love with his many friends and family. All who knew him and loved him will miss Gary's zest for life and booming voice. A memorial service will be Monday 6:00 P.M., in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Fr. John Nentwick officiating. A private interment will be for the family. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 6 P.M.
