Gary Z. Drake, age 65, of Louisville, passed away early Sunday morning, January 15, 2006 in Green Meadows Health Center. He was born December 20, 1940 in Canton to Kermit and Virginia (Thompson) Drake. Gary worked at Dyneer Corporation and was a member of VFW Post #3747. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fisherman, Hunter, Golfer and Bowler. Gary is survived by his former wife and close friend, Eula; three daughters and sons-in-law, Regina and David Dunham of East Canton, Kim and Greg Ducker of Canton, Lisa and John Pritchett of Canton; Mother, Virginia Drake; eight grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Osborne, Jesse Osborne, Nina (Michael) Grant, Jay Ducker, Thaddeus Ducker, Lecia Dunham, Brittany Dunham, David Pritchett; four great grandchildren, Tielor, Kyle, Hallie Osborne and Kaiden Grant; four step grandchildren, six step great grandchildren; two sisters, six brothers and his best friend Hank Lang. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Following cremation, a memorial service will be Wednesday 3:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Pastor Mike Tyree officiating.
