Gay Harmon, age 99, of North Canton passed away Friday morning after a brief illness. Born in East Vandergrift, PA to the late Anthony and Stephani (Stanczak) Golembeski. Gay was retired from the Stark County Treasurer's Office and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was credited for volunteering at Aultman Hospital for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Harmon, and a sister, Barbara Holliday, both of North Canton. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen Syler, Nellie Bast, Mary Kuhns; and a brother, Arthur Golembeski. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Laurel's of Massillon for their loving care. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church North Canton with Msgr. James A. Clarke as officiant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
