Frederick T. Kroft, age 74, of N. Canton went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning after a 10 year battle against Leukemia. Born in Akron, OH to the late William and Naomi (Bittinger) Kroft, he was retired from sales having worked for the M. O'Neil Co. and Sears. Fred was a member of John Knox Presbyterain Church and was an Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Barbara (Barber) Kroft of the residence. Two sons: Thomas A. (Kathleen) Kroft, and Jeffrey P. Kroft and his girl friend Lauren all of Canton. Two brothers: Robert (Nancy) Kroft of Stow, OH and James (Mary Lou) Kroft of Akron. Sister-in-law: Bonnie (Dr. William) Manos of Ashland, OH. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday in John Knox Presbyterian Church with Rev. Douglas A. Patton officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 -8 PM in John Knox Presbyterian Church and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
