Frederick E. Newland "Bud," age 84, of Canton, passed away on July 17, 2024 at Bethany Nursing Home. He was born in Canton on July 26, 1939 to the late Francis and Dorothy (Dillion) Newland.

He was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School.

Bud was an avid car enthusiast and worked in the auto industry most of his life doing upholstery. In his earlier years, Bud and his family lived in Washington State where he owned two upholstery shops.

He also enjoyed watching old, classic movies and playing cards.

Bud leaves behind her loving son, Eric (Kelly) Newland; grandchildren, Karac, Joshua, Emma Newland, Tyce Ohler, John Flory II and Alexis Flory; 2 great-grandsons, Daniel Brady and Zane Newland; brother Butch and Gene Newland and sisters Mildred, Margie and Kathy Jo.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his brother Ronald "Babe" and his sister Norma Jean.
