Frederick A. "Freddie" Paar, III, age 48, passed away on September 26th in Ghent, KY. He was born in Long Beach, CA to Frederick A. and Kaye H. (Harman) Paar. Fred was a 1987 graduate of McKinley High School and joined the US Air Force as a Medical Tech upon graduation. He was a Boy Scout and an avid outdoorsman who spent much of his time listening to music while riding his bike, fishing, and pretending to use his bow and arrow. He loved all animals and was a sports fanatic, although his favorite was NASCAR. Fred was a loyal son, brother, nephew, friend, and uncle who adored his three nieces and lived each day to the fullest. If you met Freddie once you were sure to remember him, as he was a people person who loved to live life on the edge. Preceded in death by his Mother, Kaye H. Paar. He is survived by his Father, Frederick A. "Fritz" Paar, Jr. of Florida, sister, Leslee Paar Burman of Canton and Florida; Nieces, Lindsey, Taylor and Carrie; Uncle, David (Sue) Harman; Aunt Joan Schory: Cousin, Lanee (Tom) McQuiston. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Green Burial Section of North Lawn Cemetery all family and friends are invited and then on Saturday, family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to The Wilderness Center or The Humane Society. Please sign the guest book.
