Freda Eileen Walters, age 102, of Massillon, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls passed away early Thursday morning. Freda was born in Sheffield, England to the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth (Williamson) Rushton. She was a graduate of Akron University and spent her career in elementary education. In addition to her parents Freda was preceded in death by her husband Sterling R. Walters. She is survived by her loving daughters; Susan (James) Colligan and Sally (Terry) Lewis. Grandchildren; Kelly, Kristen, Michael and Kevin. Great-grandchildren; Megan, Ella, Greta, Sophia, Maureen, Christina, Maria and Eleni. A Celebration of Freda's life will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 11th in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Avenue N.W. Interment will be private for the family.
