Freda J. Allen, age 75, of Canton formerly of Hartville, passed away on Wednesday August 12, 2015. She was born on June 5, 1940 in Sugar Creek, Ohio to the late Abner and Eva (Coblentz) Troyer. She married Sidney L. Allen April 5, 1958. She had worked from Asplin Basket in Hartville but had a career with K-Mart retiring when she was 63 years old. Since that time she has enjoyed her family and traveling. Freda always had a pet and loved her dogs. Preceded in death by her husband Sidney on November 18, 1996 and sister Mary Lou Lankford. She is survived by her children Shelley and Mike Geitgey of North Canton, Sheri Allen of Ellet, Mike and Gwendolyn Allen of Perry; grandchildren Mike (Stacy) Geitgey, Megan (Mike) Lowe, Ashley Kiester, Tyler Allen, Brooke Allen, Mitchell Allen and Mason Allen; great-grandchildren Mason Lowe, Emma Rose and Isabella Allen; siblings Edna Craighead of TN, Clara Sue (James) Dowdle of Canton, Vernon Troyer of Sandusky.
