Frank G. Opeka, age 90, passed away on Thursday September 20, 2018. Born on February 20, 1928 in Forest City, Pennsylvania to the late Felix and Mary (Swetter) Opeka, Frank retired in 1986 from Babcock & Wilcox Co. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and a great outdoorsman enjoying golf and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Jennie; children Michael (Connie), Janice Long, Teresa, Tom (Marita, Steve (Janet), David (Sharon) and Mary Hengle; sisters Martha (Henry) Meglich, Marion (Mike) Grohol; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister Anna Hoholick and brother John Opeka.

A Memorial Mass will be Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church with Father Leo Wehrlin celebrant and a reception follows at the church hall. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
