Frances E. Schumacher Frances (Scozzarella) Schumacher, age 82, of Canton passed away Thursday afternoon April 27, 2006 at Altercare of Canton. Born May 23, 1923 in Canton to the late Angelo and Salvatrice (Brigina) Scozzarella, she was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. A graduate of McKinley High School 1942; retired Postal Service 1985; member of AARP and NARFE. Frances enjoyed traveling around the country and line dancing. Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Schumacher; sisters, Rose Sacco, Mary Bishop and Angeline Dudley. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael H. and Shirley Schumacher of California; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Vincent Sacco of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Maria Scozzarella of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Clyde Dudley of Canton; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her husband's family of the Woodsfield, Ohio area. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11:00 AM in St. Michaels Catholic Church Chapel with Fr. Benson Okpara celebrant. Family will receive friends in the church an hour before services 10-11:00 AM. Final resting place is Calvary Cemetery.
