Frances Marian Parker, age 77, of Canton, passed away Sunday evening February 21, 2010 in Aultman Hospital. She was born November 3, 1932 in Washington, Pennsylvania to Marian and Garnet (Atkinson) VanKirk. Frances was a Beautician at Gerbers Beauty School, worked at numerous area restaurants and retired from Combined Insurance Company. She was a member of First Church of the Resurrection of Canton where she was a member of the Flora C. Heidrich Circle and the Welcome in Class. Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Dickerson of Coshocton, Ohio, Sister Nancy Murphy, brother, Cliff VanKirk and step mother Lenora VanKirk all of Washington, Pennsylvania and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her grandparents Clara and Ross VanKirk of Buffalo Township. PA and by a brother, Bill VanKirk. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at First Church of the Resurrection with Dr. Rev. Bruce Mont officiating. Calling hours are Thursday 6-8:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday (10-11:00 a.m.). Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Resurrection. Her cousin Joy Monastra would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rev.
