Frances Fern McManis, age 92, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning at her home in North Canton. Born in Middlebranch, Ohio to the late James & Orpha (Werner) Hennessey, she was a graduate of Middlebranch High School. Frances retired from the Timken Company after 38 years of service. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Delta Chapter 531, OES, Frances was a devoted wife of 47 years to her husband Frederick (Al), and the loving mother of Kimberly White of New York City. In addition to her parents Frances is preceded in death by her three sisters: Virginia Bender, Miriam Debro, and Sydna Russell. Frances loved ballroom dancing, Florida in the winter, the Red Hat Society, playing cards and the Cleveland Indians - with her greatest joy in life being with friends, family, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday in Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Don Richards officiating. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Eastern Star service will be Saturday 10:00 A.M.
