Frances G. Martin, age 95, died Wednesday morning, June 28, 2023, in her home with her son by her side. She was born February 7, 1928, in Newark to Joseph and Emma (Maharg) Glover. Fran graduated from Newark High School in 1945. From 1972 to 1979 Frances worked for Central Trust Bank as a secretary to the Personnel Manager and then spent 14 years as the Church Secretary at First United Church of Christ in Canton.

She is survived by her son, Dan Martin; preceded in death by two sons, Lee and Michael Martin; also survived by grandchildren, Joshua, Stephanie, Dan and several great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Barnes Cemetery in Newark.
