Floyd G. Haines, age 80 of Marlboro Township, passed away Saturday Morning in his residence. He was born May 6, 1931 in New Baltimore to Edwin J. and Nettie (Griffeth) Haines and was lifetime resident. Floyd retired from Main Street Lighting in Medina where he was a pattern maker and plant manager. He was a member of New Baltimore Community Church, graduated from Marlboro High School in 1949 and was a U.S Army Veteran. Floyd was an avid gardener, collected antique clocks and enjoyed puzzles throughout the winter months. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret; daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and William Hahn of Marlboro Township; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Pamela Haines of Randolph; brother, Melvin Haines of Minerva; grandchildren, Brandon Haines of Parma, Erin (Todd) Michaels of East Canton, Lauren Hahn of Marlboro, Micah J. Hahn of Corning, N.Y.; great granddaughter, Alivia Michaels. Preceded in death by a sister, Venette Weingart. Funeral services will be Wednesday 12:00 noon at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville with Pastor Ken Baker officiating.
