Obituary

Fay Logan, age 94 of Canton passed away Monday afternoon September 17, 2007 at Altercare of Nobles Pond. Born in Odessa, Russia on September 14, 1913 to the late Isadore and Sarah Gordon, she moved to Cleveland when 10 months old and Canton in 1946. Fay owned and operated Dick Logan's Restaurant with her husband and later her son. She was a member of Temple Israel, Canton Jewish Community Center and the National Bridge Association. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1969; 4 brothers, Meyer, Ben, Al and Morris Gordon; and son-in-law, Lewis Raxlin. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Raxlin of Canton; son and daughter-in-law Marty and Maxine Logan of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Beth) Raxlin of NC, Mark (Nadya) Raxlin of Cleveland, Casey (Cathy) Raxlin of Cincinnati, Tina Logan and Shelly Logan both of CA; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Amanda and Daniel Raxlin and Dakota Logan; sister Ida (Nathan) Ross of Canton; brother Sam Gordon of WI; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 3:00 PM in North Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi John Spitzer officiating. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Staff at Nobles Pond and Mercy Hospice for the wonderful and devoted care given to Fay.
