Fannie E. Geiser, age 84, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 22, 2011. She was born in Hartville on August 9, 1927 to the late Eli and Maggie (Troyer) Miller. She was an active member of the Hartville Mennonite Church where she enjoyed many church activities. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed reading , puzzles and traveling. Preceded in death by her husbands Joni Miller, Arthur Sloan and Noah Geiser; children Barbara Kay Miller, Michael Geiser, Marilyn Troutman; grandson Daniel Borkholder; siblings Monroe, Manass, Melvin, Catherine Miller, Elizabeth McCort, and Barbara Mast. She is survived by children Maggie Ann Frase of Shreve, OH, Henry (Linda) Borkholder of Garrettsville, OH, Donald (Barbara) Miller of Orrville, OH, Richard (Sandra) Sloan of Banner, KY, Terry (Shawn) Geiser of Carey, OH; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; siblings Jacob Miller, Henry Miller, Betty Schmucker, Emma Miller all of Hartville, Dorothy Carmer of Columbus, IN, Mary Ellen (John) Mullet of Middlefield, OH, Sarah (Albert) Wagler of Carlton, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Hartville Mennonite Church and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday (10-11 AM). Funeral services are Tuesday 11 AM in the church with Pastor Ross Miller officiating. Final resting place is Apple Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hartville Mennonite Church.
