Everett G. Norton, age 83, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 14, 2007. Born on April 13, 1923 in North Carolina to the late Francis J. Nellie F. (Driggers) Norton and was a WW II Army Veteran. He worked for Diamond Portland Cement and retired from Teledyne Monarch in 1986. A member of Hartville Church of the Brethren, his hobbies included Master Woodworking and touring the country with his wife on their motorcycle. Preceded in death by 1st wife, Irene; daughter, Cheryl Robertson; grandson, Matthew Robertson; brothers, Blackie and Ernest; sisters Virginia, Betty; and survived by wife of 36 years Florence; children; Ron (Mary) Norton of Cuyahoga Falls, Everett (Sylvia) Norton of FL, Dick (Louise) Norton of Green, Joe (Camille) Norton of FL, Bob (Wendy) Nichols of AZ, Jeff (Margaret) Nichols of North Canton, Randy Nichols of Mogadore; sisters, Dixie Kline and Ruth Ivey both of Hartville, Nellie Price of North Canton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sunday 3-6:00 PM in Arnold Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday 10-11 AM in the church. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 AM in the Hartville Church of the Brethren with Pastor Tobin Crenshaw officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
