Evelyn Martin, age 90, of Hartville passed away on Saturday July 1, 2017. Evelyn was born May 16, 1927 in Canton, Ohio to the late Raphael and Hilda (Weisend) Zwick. She graduated from Mount Marie Academy (Central Catholic High School) in 1945. She worked in the credit department of the Timken Roller Bearing Company. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Evelyn and Bill were married on January 11, 1947 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Canton. Their love was always "Oceans and Oceans and Seas to Seas".

Preceded in death by her ever-loving husband Bill on March 30, 2017; sister Phyllis (Richard) Bulso; brothers Ralph and James Zwick; and grandson Kevin Prince.

She is survived by her three loving daughters Carol (Rich) Frazee of Uniontown, Susan (Ron) Prince of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jane (Lon) Slabaugh of Hartville; grandchildren Kelly (Robby Mockler) Howick, Jason (Melanie) Prince, Patrick (Vanessa), Angie, Lori, Morgan, Shanice and Niki Slabaugh; great-grandchildren Willa, Zachary and Auden Mockler, Teagan Prince and Riley Leiendecker; sister Judy (Elmer) Nolf; sisters-in-law Donna (Jack) Rose, Martha Zwick; brother-in-law Bob McKinney.

Evelyn loved traveling the world with Bill after retirement, casino trips, Las Vegas, square dancing and ballroom dancing, Elvis Presley and shopping. She was a great wife, mom and grandma and was cherished and loved by her whole family and will be dearly missed.

Private family services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to Corp. Kevin William Prince Memorial Scholarship Fund, 1234 East Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205-1453. Evelyn's family thanks the staff at The Homestead in Hartville who made her feel so special. Also, thanks to the staff at Mercy Hospital ICU and Mercy Hospice for compassionate care.
