Evelyn graduated third in class of 400 in the 1946 Timken High School Class and attended Kent State University, Stark Campus. She faithfully served the Saint Haralambos Church all her life, starting as the first organist at age ten, taught Sunday School, assisted in the church office and was generous contributor to many Church projects throughout her life. Elvelyn also led a fund drive for the Church's new Allen Organ.

In addition, she was a long-time volunteer to the United Way, American Heart and American Cancer Societies, and the Ohio Read Program. Evelyn was a charter member of the Canton Symphony League and a volunteer. She was also a member of the Ladies' Philoptohos Society and Silver Liners of her Church.

She is survived by daughters Cassandra Boyer of Danville, CA and Stephanie (David) Ryan of Oahu, HI, her beloved granddaughters, Alexandra and Jennifer Boyer and brothers Louis (Bonnie) Eustauthios and Nick (Roseann) Eustauthios. Also surviving are nephew William (Jeanne), Eustauthios, (their children Steven (Jennifer), Bradley (Emily) and Detria) and niece Pamela Boni (her children Austin and Brooke). Funeral services were held at Saint Haralambos Church, and the burial took place at North Lawn Cemetery in the Eustauthios family plot. Remembrances may be made to the Saint Haralamobos Church, 251-25th N.W., Canton, OH 44709.

She lived her life according to God's commandments, serving her Church, her community, her family—raising two daughters alone—and graciously adding her support to those in need. She was always ready to support and encourage those who needed her strength and consul. A bright light has faded—a life well lived.
